Ethiopian Sidamo - Certified Fair Trade & Organic

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee where, as one of the many legends has it, a goat herder noticed his goat acting all loopy after eating the berry. Of course there are many more legends, but we like this one the best! Ok, enough about history...now more about this amazing coffee.

This particular coffee comes from the "Fero Cooperative" in the Sidamo region. Coffees from the Sidamo region are dry-processed. This means they are spread out on a patio where the cherry is left to decompose over a ten day period. This traditional method is popular in areas where there is limited infrastructure and water.

Cupping Notes: Intense floral notes with a distinct blueberry aroma, full bodied, and complex.
