Kenyan AA - Thimu Cooperative
Bet ya didn't know that coffee cultivation in Kenya dates back to 1893, when fathers of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit brought the first Arabica trees from Ethiopia and planted them in the Kiambu district, just north of Nairobi. The name of the cultivar: "French Mission".

The Thimu cooperative coffee mill is in the Kirinyaga district located just east of Mt. Kenya. Most of these areas are known as “Blue Mountain” coffee because of the cup quality.

Cupping Notes: Rich, full bodied, with hints of wine and cooked beef (trust me, it is really, really, good).
